The Surlyn Durable Ball
After a very pathetic start to this return to Le Riviera, Eagle Klubhead turned things around thanks to the Surlyn Durable ball.
The Slazenger ball, which was found in the woods of the 11th hole at Lac Lyster, was put into play after a lost ball on the 3rd. Eagle chipped in to save double bogey and picked up his game from there.
With Surlyn's face showing the way to the pin, Eagle managed to shoot reasonably straight and stay out of trouble despite a lack of beer to get through the back nine.
Surlyn took a dip in the creek on the 16th but was rescued and finished the round in fine form.
