Welcome Back Rock Kuttshott!

Rock Kuttshott, one of Hangover Golf's original members made an impressive comeback to the tour yesterday on the sunny fairways of St-Basil-le-Grand's Rive Sud course.

Having not swung a club in five years, Rock joined up with three-time Hangover Golf Champion Chip Bunker, Masher Softspin and Eagle Klubhead for a fun outing of cart golfing. Klubhead insisted on the carts since he was still drunk with less than four hours sleep under his belt after a B-league golf tournament in the Eastern Townships the day before.

Kuttshott managed to score some fine pars and some bogeys between shaking off some rust with a few double-digit holes. His 160-yard approach to the 10th for a tap-in par was particularly stunning as were a couple of his sand shots. Although he finished with a score of 127, you couldn't help but pleasantly surprised by some of the shots he made after having been off the links for so long. Welcome back Rock!

Chip Bunker showed he was ready to defend his championship in two weeks despite having a bit of breakdown down the stretch: 8 over par on the last two holes to finish with an uncharacteristic 50 on the back.

Klubhead, running on the fumes of the eve's bender, came out on fire on his nemesis course by going birdie, par, bogey, bogey before unraveling with an 8 on the first par 3. Once again, Rive-Sud got the better of Klubhead by escorting him to his worst round of the year: 116.

Softspin, meanwhile, continued with his steady comeback from a disappointing 2007 season plagued by a shoulder injury. Finishing the round with a tie with Bunker, Masher proved he can be a factor in this year's championship.

Final Scores
Masher Softspin 46-47-93 (29 putts)
Chip Bunker 43-50-93 (34 putts)
Eagle Klubhead 55-61-116 (29 putts)
